Campione d'Italia is an Italian enclave and comune located in the Swiss canton of Ticino, on the eastern shore of Lake Lugano. It is surrounded on all sides by Switzerland, and it is the only part of Italy to be completely surrounded by another country.

Campione d'Italia has a population of around 2,000 people, and it is known for its casino, the Casino Municipale di Campione d'Italia, which is one of the largest casinos in Europe. The casino is located within walking distance of the Grand Hotel Campione.

In addition to the casino, Campione d'Italia offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops, as well as opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and water sports on the lake. The town also hosts several cultural events and festivals throughout the year, including the Campione d'Italia Music Festival and the Campione d'Italia International Chess Festival.
