Common description

Founded by Umbria long before our era, Perugia is one of the oldest cities in Italy. It is located in the heart of Italy, and is the historic capital of the region of Umbria. The city, spread out on the hills, offers infinitely beautiful panoramas of the surrounding area. In Perugia, where Goethe himself used to come for inspiration, many monuments have survived to this day, such as the famous Maggiore Fountain in the central square, the medieval Town Hall, St. Lawrence Cathedral, the austere and ascetic Templar Cathedral.
