Temple of Heaven - a sacred complex dedicated to the God of Heaven.
Lunch - Peking duck.
Return to the hotel.

Excursion to the Great Wall of China (Mutianyu section, 70 km from Beijing). It is a symbol of China and the only man-made structure visible from space with the naked eye.
Lunch at a country Chinese restaurant.
Yiheyuan Summer Garden is the largest and oldest garden and park complex.
External tour of the Olympic venues: the Gnezdo and Water Cube stadiums.
Return to the hotel.

Around 8:30 AM, disembark at Chaotianmen Port, Chongqing. Luggage transfer service is available at the pier.
Transfer to Chongqing Airport. Flight to Shanghai. Arrival in Shanghai. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in.
Free time to explore Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, Shanghai's main shopping street and one of the busiest shopping streets in the world.

Tour of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in the Pudongto New District. It is the tallest tower in Asia and the third tallest in the world, surpassed only by the CN Tower in Toronto (553 meters) and the 540-meter Ostankino TV Tower in Moscow.
Tour of the Yuyuan Garden of Joy, located in the center of Shanghai's historic district (Old Town). It is over 450 years old. The garden covers 4 hectares. The park features numerous Chinese-style buildings, arches, bridges, and ponds with large goldfish.
The Old Chinatown, or Old Town, is the oldest part of Shanghai. This circular area originally formed the walled city of Shanghai.

Zhujiajiao Excursion - While in Shanghai, after you've admired the skyscrapers, temples, and pagodas, you can head to the western suburbs of Shanghai, 50 km from the city center. There, you'll find a place unusual not only for you but also for China, known as the Venice of Shanghai: the ancient water town of Zhujiajiao. Its history spans 1,700 years, and the atmosphere of ancient China has remained remarkably intact. This is evident in everything: the ancient streets and architecture, the customs of the local population, and the urban landscapes typical of southeastern China, as well as the waterscapes. Here lies a kingdom of beauty, peace, and tranquility. This city, like a precious diamond, sparkles among the mountains and water—the most beautiful historical site in the country.
